Professional Sommelier Training
Become a Sommelier with our professional training.
Becoming a professional, a Sommelier, is a journey that requires not only passion and commitment but also good Teachers. Every AIS Teacher is not only a Professional sommelier, but s/he also has recognized knowledge of the specific subject s/he teaches. The Professional Training follows the AIS statutory plan and gives an accredited title. Teachers come to Belgium and Luxembourg to give lessons, in English or Italian. The course is split into three modules, at the end of which you will sit the final written and oral exam.
Masterclasses
The Sommelier Association organizes events for every level.  Share wine knowledge and news with the community it is a pleasure and our target!
Here are some examples of Masterclasses, where everyone comes to listen to our speakers and acquire knowledge on specific topics. Not only for professionals, not real classes, but more informal 'lectures'usually with pairing exercises. These format gives the opportunity to discover exclusive products, tiny producers and unique production techniques of wine as well as of gastronomy form small regions.

Discovering the Italian Big Reds and their winemaking, their peculiarities and their finest food pairing.
Masterclass on wines from Latium region
Some volcanoes are active, some others not, but the soil still gives a special touch to the products from the territory. From the land around Rome, ancient land and ancient indigenous vine to discover.
Wine Labs
These kind of events are 'exercise' sessions where people meet and taste together wine, sharing sensations, impressions, doubts, knwoledge...supported by Sommelier. Here you are in the lead. Used to prepare the exam, it can be also used to learn the basic by listening to the discussions. Not a class, but people and future sommeliers exercising together an an informal context.
